ALL HAIL TO ''ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT''

 'All we imagine as light' directed by Payal Kapadia won Grand Pix prize in Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for Palme d'Or and Golden Globe for the first time in 30 years for Indian Cinema.  

All we imagine as light surrounds the story with three characters Prabha ( played by Kani Kusruti) Anu (Divya Prabha), Parvaty (Chaya Kadam) living in mumbai as nurse wroking in a government hospital. The film was filmed during the moonson season in mumbai, most of the scenes were shown at night depicting the beautiful city lights of mumbai. 

THE THREE CHARACTERS

The three characters Prabha, Anu, Parvaty although worked in the same hospital didn't live the same way. Prabha and Anu were roomates while Parvaty lived alone near a tower. Prabha's husband lived in germany, he came back one time to get married but never returned India after getting married while Anu who have a muslim boyfriend tries to find a sacred place to get initimate with her boyfriend. All three of them goes to Parvaty village as decides to move there. The three characters reminds me so much about Potrait of a lady on Fire. It shows you can make something with not much drama or mass characters in a movie its all about the feeling and the need to make something that no on haven't seen yet.

Payal Kapadia depicted desire, silent way of living your life, a pause is perfectly fine was well that i forgot i was watching a film and two hours felt so short to me.
